Our Story
StayWithMax began with a simple question: what would it feel like if short stays actually made life easier?
Before Max, there was Travel Homes. A local short-term rental company doing what most do: running listings, managing turnovers, solving last-minute problems, and making sure the beds were made and the Wi-Fi worked. It worked well enough—guests were happy, reviews were good, operations were solid. But something was missing.
We noticed it in the small things: guests asking the same questions again and again, confusion about check-in, uncertainty about what was included, that awkward moment when a stay starts with friction instead of ease. Despite our best efforts, things felt transactional. There was too much noise and not enough thought.
So we stepped back and asked: what if there was a better way? A way to offer not just housing, but headspace—a calm, frictionless start to any kind of trip. From that question, Max was born.
Max is not a person, not an app, and not a gimmick. Max is a philosophy. A new standard for how short stays should feel: functional without being sterile, warm without being overbearing.
